TED ( Technology, Entertainment and Design) is a not-for-profit organization registered in US which arranges for talks and presentations by successful people in the Technology, Entertainment, Design domains ( also social service, Innovations, Entrepreneurship etc..) who have made a change in the life of the societies and communities around them. Through the platform of TED talks the high performers and achievers are given a platform to showcase their achievements, the strategy and motivation behind their thoughts and convictions. The talks and recordings, available for free on the Internet are taken as video discussion cases across the world in Management Institutions and Business schools. TED talks conducted outside of US are designated as TEDx talks.

In their drive to motivate and get the student  community to be more active partners in developmental and innovative activities of the immediate society around us and thence the nation and the world, 50 Institutions across the India have been identified for holding TEDx Campus Connect programmes during 2014-15.. Alliance University is one among them.
